Polling Day! Urghhh!!

TRIPLER

The 1st 2 selections have unbelievable HRP scores and both are favourites. For this reason, although the write-ups say Eritage has got good competition, I am going for a WIN on these 1st 2 races. The 3rd race is a “leg it as fast as you can” flat race. There are a couple of promising leaders in the early betting so I am going to wait for the 1st 2 results to come through before committing. At the moment,I am leaning towards a Split bet but will wait and see. My choice is WAIT.

OBAD

See above. First Race.

RATCHET

I am NOT betting on the 1st 2 races. They are both very low Place Odds and are both the dreaded jumps. One mistake & your stake has gone. The 3rd race is much more promising with only 5 runners and decent Place Odds. I am going to bet on the 3rd race only.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

A really good day. I hit “Job Done” on the 1st race which covered OBAD and TRIPLER, so no more betting for me using this system. On the Ratchet System, the 1st race came in so that was good. The 2nd horse Pulled Up. I don’t know if horses have hamstring problems like Premier League pantomime stars do, but it lost me my stake. I made a bit back on Race 3.

Overall, OBAD brought me a 4.14% profit, Tripler grabbed me an amazing 11.20% but I lost a little on Ratchet.

** When I say a percentage profit, I mean the profit between my Starting Bank amount for THE DAY compared to the end Bank Amount for THE DAY. My big profit on yesterday’s Tripler was because I was on 6 points for the stake. If it had lost, my next stake would have been 7 points. (A lot for me.) As it was, I won a nice amount and my next stake drops to 4 points.

    My start bank was £102.34. Stake was £8.19. Odds 2.40. £8.19 x 2.40 – £8.19 = £11.47. End Bank therefore £113.81. Equals 11.21% up. The Stake was worked out by Gav’s spreadsheet.

Hi Rob, thanks for your great help. I can see that from your response that your working with a 75 pt bank and I can see how you get the results. I have not achieved enough points to download Gav’s calculator but I have no problems with working out stake, ptvalues and targets manually.
