YESTERDAY’S RESULTS
Dire. Took a hammering on Tripler even though I played it safe by going for Split bets on all 3 selections. Race 2 came 2nd and gave me a small loss. High hopes for the next race & the daft bugger came an appalling 5th out of 8. On to Race 3 which was almost as poo. 4th out of 6.
OBAD gave me a small loss & Ratchet hit my target after Race 1.
TRIPLER
16.35 – Leicester – Blazing Hot. 2 at the top of the betting. The rest are so far out they’re not even in Leicester. I think they’re in Cornwall. Rather than risk everything, a Split with a win would hit target. That yellow streak again. SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd. Small loss to go to Race 2.
17.15 – Kilbeggan – Make My Heart Fly. Close at the top but odds are high so I’m not banking everything on a win. SPLIT. RESULT – 5th! Made my heart SINK.
18.55 – Haydock – Happy Power. A lot of jockeys I’ve heard of and a well spread field, odds-wise. I’m going for my 3rd SPLIT. RESULT – 4th out of 6. Appalling effort.
