My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. I am only using small stakes but the signs are very promising. My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

Bit of a mixed bag. A win in Race 1 was enough for Tripler & OBAD, but with the Race 2 loss, it cost us a bit on Ratchet. My Fav Goldmine won again with a first & a third place.

13.10 – Lingfield – La Tihaty. (62) Came 2nd on last outing on the same C & D. Was very green at the time so will have gained valuable experience. Plus, the jockey comes from The Queen Vic. Don’t argue with a Mitchell brother. WIN. RESULT – 1st.

15.40 – Lingfield – Music Major. (46) Wow – HRP chose this so there has to be a reason, although it could be classed as an outsider. SPLIT. RESULT – 11th.

18.10 Wolverhampton – Radrizzani (61) Jockey is Daniel NoHope. Let’s hope it’s not a No Hope! SPLIT. RESULT – 3rd.
