20th February 2021 + Summary + Doc’s Fav Goldmine

** House Notes: Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

13.05 – Wincanton – Pozo Emery – (72) – Ridden by David Frost’s lass, Bryony. A drop down in distance but with a penalty. I reckon Bryony will do the job. WIN.

16.25 – Haydock – Mint Condition (71) – Has shown good form but is up against equally talented horses. Tempted to go for a win, but I think I will opt for a SPLIT.

17.00 – Haydock – The World’s End – (67) – Amongst the front runners, but isn’t jumping out & smacking me in the chops. SPLIT.

OBAD

13.05 – Wincanton – Pozo Emery – (72) – See Above.

RATCHET – Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR3

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) I use the Platinum Staking Plan.

13.15 – Ascot – Gallyhill.

15.09 – Lingfield – Dashing Dick.

15.14 – Haydock – Monmiral.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

This has got to go down as my Bermuda Triangle Day. Totally lost without a trace .Out of all of my selections, only ONE came in. On Tripler, Race 1 pulled up and then my 2 win selections both came 2nd. This obviously blew my OBAD selection out of the water as well. A shard of light came on Ratchet, with 2 places after the 1st race debacle. My Fav Goldmine had the most spectacular of bad days. My selections – apart from the 15.42 at Fakenham – were both beaten by absolute no hopers. I simply can’t get it in my head as to why such well fancied horses can get beaten by rank outsiders. I know they are animals but surely the trainers have something to answer. If they know the horses aren’t up to it, they shouldn’t let them race. People like us are putting hard earned money on their horses. Enough of my rant. We’ll win tomorrow 🙂

TRIPLER

13.20 – Kelso – Fabrique En France (61) – Soccer commentator David Coleman is our pilot today. 4 horses stand out and the other 3 are in front of ours. It’s a SPLIT. RESULT – Pulled Up.

13.50 – Kelso – Protektorat (87) – Harry Skeleton rides ours. Won its first 2 races then got pipped into 2nd in its last race. A comeback is expected today. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.

15.12 – Fakenham – Captain Morgs (64) – Nico de Triumph Bonneville is all set to take our trusty steed all the way. This distance is perfect for him, so it’s another WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
