For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
Doc’s Bank Builder – Hmmmm. So many selections have ended up 1 place out of the paying places. I am spending a lot of time researching these selections, and this is on top of running Tripler, OBAD, Ratchet and Doc’s Fav Goldmine. I have decided that this is taking up virtually all day so I am putting a temporary hold on this system until I can tweak it to try and get rid of these hiccups.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Race 1 on Tripler came good but how can a mahoosive favourite like Captain Kangaroo get beaten by a milk cart puller at odds of 28/1? Beggars belief. Mullins? More like Muppets!. Race 3 was a bit of a shock; only 3 runners & ours pulled up! Race 2’s shock cost us on OBAD but the 2 x 2nd places made Ratchet OK.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine was the star performer with all 3 selections coming in the place market. I stopped after Race 1 but if you carried on, you filled your boots! 🙂 🙂
TRIPLER
13.52 – Hexham – Geromino.(72) – It seems this distance suits Geromino as he cruises along for 2 miles. (Unlike me, who wheezes after 50 metres.) Main opponent receives a penalty. SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd.
14.45 – Limerick – Captain Kangaroo. (74) – 2 horses stand out in this race. We’re up against a good opponent, but I reckon ours will knock it off its’ perch. WIN. RESULT – 2nd
18.50 – Kempton – Captain Morgs. (72) – De Triumph Bonneville versus Twist Your Arm. The mighty 3 cylinder Bonneville all the way. WIN. RESULT – Pulled Up.

14.45 – Limerick – Captain Kangaroo. (74) – See Above. RESULT – 2nd.
RATCHET – RESULTS – 2nd, 2nd.
DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.
