28th April 2021 + Summary + Doc’s Fav Goldmine

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off to see if the odds have improved. The key thing to remember is a winner at odds of 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

14.00 – Pontefract – Khunan (84) – Ran really well recently and set for improvement. It’s a short 5 furlong “Leg it quick” race but there are only 6 runners, so less chance to get bashed around. WIN.

14.45 – Ascot – Stradivarius (74) – This horse comes across as only running at posh places like Royal Ascot, cos it’s a posh horse with a posh jockey. Hard to go against its’ poshness. So it’s a posh WIN.

18.30 – Punchestown – Kilcruit (74) – This is a Grade 1 Bumper and I haven’t the faintest idea what the Hell that means. A race is a race to me and the fastest horse wins? Hard to separate the Top 2 so it’s a SPLIT.

OBAD

14.00 – Pontefract – Khunan (84) – See Above.

RATCHET – Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank. I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets, together with the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed in order to win.

The key thing to remember is a winner at odds of 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.

14.00 – Pontefract – Khunan (1.36 – 6 – 2)

14.45 – Ascot – Stradivarius (1.24 – 6 – 2)

16.50 – Punchestown – Blue Sari (1.46 – 11 – 3)

17.10 – Chelmsford – Carolus Magnus (1.15 – 10 – 3)

18.20 – Brighton – Excel Power (1.10 – 4 – 2)

18.30 – Punchestown – Sir Gerhard (1.11 – 8 – 3)

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

So close, yet so far! All HRP selections came 2nd, which meant losses on Tripler and OBAD. The 2nd place in Race 2 did pull some back. Ratchet was a nice winner with all 3 finishing in the places. Pete Townsend really does use a Fender Stratocaster as a whip!

Doc’s Fav Goldmine continued its’ great run, with all 5 selections coming in the places 🙂 I wasn’t overly confident of these selections so I stopped after Race 2. Good on you if you carried on through my card. I’m always more than happy to stop with a really nice percentage profit.

TRIPLER

13.50 – Nottingham – Amber Dew (71) – Although there are a few decent looking opponents, ours has a great run recently and really looks the part. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.

17.25 – Punchestown – Allaho (73) – A Rock Star duel if ever I saw one – Pete Townsend up against Ritchie Blackmore! I’m worried Pete will use his Fender Stratocaster rather than a whip, so I’m going for a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd.

18.30 – Punchestown – Monkfish (77) – The same 2 rock Gods come up against each other again. Pete’s Monkfish is narrowly preferred to Ritchie’s Envoi Allen. I’m going for Pete to win by a fretboard. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.

OBAD

18.30 – Punchestown – Monkfish (77) – See Above. RESULT – 2nd.

RATCHET – RESULTS – 2nd, 2nd, 2nd.

I’m not 100% of all these coming in, so PLEASE stop as soon as you hopefully, hit your target.

13.35 – Yarmouth – Restitution. RESULT – 1st.

14.30 – Brighton – Golden Rainbow. RESULT – 2nd.

14.40 – Yarmouth – Moorbik. RESULT – 1st.

18.30 – Punchestown – Monkfish. RESULT – 2nd.

19.25 – Lingfield – Worthily. RESULT – 2nd.
