** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **
For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.
STAY SAFE FELLAS.
TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS
TRIPLER
14.15 – Chester – Armory. (87) – Had a really great result not too long ago and seems in top shape. Good opposition but I expect our old chum Brian Moore to bring home the bacon. WIN.
15.15 – Chester – El Astronaute. (79) – That old artist supreme Tony Hart is on board today. Not the favourite but the opposition is less experienced and this track suits our selection. WIN.
16.10 – Market Rasen – Mexican Boy. (66) – Brian Moore’s BBC rival, David Coleman saddles ours. Dave struggled a lot with his microphone and I expect him to struggle again today. SPLIT.
OBAD
14.15 – Chester – Armory. See Above.

All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) Use 10% of your Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.
I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets, together with the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed in order to win. It’s your decision as to whether or not you take the early odds or wait, hoping they will increase. The key thing to remember is a winner/winners at odds of 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank every month.
Please be prepared to change your line of thinking – “on the hoof” so to speak – if the odds move dramatically. They may drift, thus making the selection a “No Bet”, or the odds may steam in, making it not worth taking the risk.
15.15 – Chester – El Astronaute. (1.41 – 7 – 2)
17.00 – Nottingham – Amazonian Dream. (1.59 – 7 – 2)
17.20 – Ripon – Wee Loch Lass. (1.17 – 8 – 3)
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not the best of days. Race 1 on Tripler hopefully encouraged you to stop for the day, at or around your target, as Race 2 lost and Race 3 came 2nd. It meant a loss on OBAD and Ratchet, although it pulled back with the 2nd place in Race 3.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine had no bets as the data wasn’t available to work with and I am not betting just for the sake of it. This to me, is a business and I nowadays treat it as such.
TRIPLER
12.50 – Huntingdon – Hurling Magic. (51) – I’m not expecting this nag to do well; he has disappointed a lot in the past and today, Nico de Triumph Bonneville is up against the mighty Eddie “The Eagle” Edwards on Raffle Ticket. SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd.
14.15 – Chester – Yibir. (54) – Quite an open race this one at nearby Chester. I’m not pinning all my bet on it to win, so for me, it’s another SPLIT. RESULT – 4th.
19.20 – Chelmsford – Allegranza. (54) – Good performance last time out and I expect this form to continue. With Tony Curtis on board, I’m “Persuaded” to go for a WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
OBAD
19.20 – Chelmsford – Allegranza. (54) – See Above. RESULT – 2nd.
RATCHET – RESULTS – 2nd, 4th, 2nd.
