For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.

19.40 – Killarney – Staker Wallace. (67) – A rare outing for Des O’Connor on board ours. Had an excellent run recently at Punchestown and I fully expect out smiling funster to do better. WIN.

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) Use 10% of your Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

 

A split win in Race 1 on Tripler followed by a loss in Race 2. Race 3 made amends with a nice 1st place. OBAD had the split result as well. Ratchet lost a bit; Wins in Races 1 and 3 were offset by the 3rd place in race 2.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine came good again; 3 selections today and all 3 finishing in the places, 2 of which were winners. 🙂 I took odds of 1.48 in Race 1 so not only hit target, but almost doubled it. No more betting for me after Race 1. I could settle down for the day and take the dogs out.
