NOTES
- Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results before the next race starts. Either watch the race live, or watch it on Betfair.
- For Tripler, OBAD, and Ratchet, I use the 3 HRP Systems, assess each one, and then post my predictions. Sometimes, the result of a previous race dictates my next selection. The Platinum spreadsheet determines your next stake.
- I ALWAYS stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) If you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on.
- It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will then go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased.
- A winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank in a month.
STAKING PLAN 1
- All selections are in the PLACE market.
- Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.)
- Use 10% of your Bank as a stake.
- If a loss occurs, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.
STAKING PLAN 2 (This follows Dave & Gav’s C20 staking plan:)
- Divide your Total Betting Fund into 4 equal blocks. (25% per block.)
- One block – (25%) is used as your Frontline Betting Bank with either 10% or 20% as your stake. (Your choice.) 75% is held in reserve in case of a major loss.
- As you are only using 25% of your Total Bank to bet with, you may want to “Collapse” your Bank and start again at a profit of either 5% or 10%. The choice is yours.
- Any winnings are added to your Total Betting Bank and then the whole process of splitting into 4 blocks starts again.
- You will need to use Gav & Dave’s Spreadsheet to calculate your stakes. (If not a VIP member, you may want to stick with 10% of your Betting Bank as your stake, then follow rules 1 – 3 above.)
As Albert Einstein allegedly said: “Compound Interest is the 8th Wonder Of The World.”
Let’s shake things up a bit.
Starting this week, I am looking at a slightly different approach to Doc’s Fav Goldmine staking. I have stuck firmly to the 10% staking method, but I am also going to start using the PLATINUM STAKING PLAN. This involves SPLIT STAKING.
I will try and come up with a way of publishing the results on a daily basis. Bear with me – I am no computer expert 🙂 If I struggle, I have the expert to guide me in Dave Tech.
TRIPLER
13.45 – Yarmouth – Prisha. Ridden by Rock Goddess, Joni Mitchell, there can only be one outcome. WIN. (1.49. 7)
14.25 – Dundalk – Is That Love. Hmmm. I can’t see past a place finish in this one. SPLIT. (4.20 & 1.65 – 12 – 3) 4 TBP at 1.42.
17.05 – Lingfield – Ivory Madonna. The mighty Hollie Conan Doyle is surely a shoe-in for this one. WIN. (1.65. 6)
OBAD
14.25 – Dundalk – Is That Love. Hmmm. I can’t see past a place finish in this one. SPLIT. (4.20 & 1.65 – 12 – 3) 4 TBP at 1.42.
RATCHET
Same selections as Tripler but in the PLACE MARKET. Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR3
DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE
19.00 – Kempton – Lions Pride. (1.17 – 6 – 2)
DFG OBAD
19.00 – Kempton – Lions Pride. (1.17 – 6 – 2)
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Good job we got a winner at target-beating odds i Race 1 on Tripler. race 2 was a non-runner & Race 3 finished nowhere. OBAD was a winner, but only Race 1 came in for us on Ratchet.
No selections for either Doc’s Fav Goldmine or DFG OBAD. As I often say,I don’t gamble. If nothing matches my criteria, I don’t have a bet just for the sake of it. I’d sooner keep my money for the next day’s betting.
TRIPLER
14.45 – Pontefract – Star Ahoy. As straightforward as they come. WIN. (1.69. 11) RESULT – 1st.
18.10 – Uttoxeter – Our Scholar. Very tight, but this race is usually won by the favourite, & ours is the favourite. WIN. (3.40. 8) RESULT – Non Runner.
19.30 – Brighton – Willing To Please. I can only see a Place result in this one. SPLIT. (4.80 & 1.74. 11) 4 TBP at 1.40. RESULT – 6th.
OBAD
14.45 – Pontefract – Star Ahoy. As straightforward as they come. WIN. (1.69. 11) RESULT – 1st.
RATCHET – RESULTS – 1st, Non Runner, 6th.
DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE
For the second day on the run, there are no selections which, after applying my filters, fit my strict criteria.
