My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

18.50 – Kempton – Melody Of Life. (71.) This one is a bit trickier to forecast. A good opportunity to open his account, but I’m hesitant – SPLIT.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Certainly not the finest of days. Tripler produced a 4th place, a win and a dreadful 5th (last!) Fortunately, OBAD won, but Ratchet took a bit of a pasting. Even my Fav Goldmine took a hit on Race 1, but it’s the first time for a long time we had a loss.

12.30 – Wetherby – Mont Segur. Ridden by one of Emmerdale’s tough nut family, Rex Dingle, Came 2nd recently but still has lots to offer. WIN. RESULT – 4th. Bobbins!
17.00 – Newcastle – Venturous. Won 3 out of 4 and a clear favourite. Odds are really good so it’s a WIN. RESULT – 1st.
17.30 – Newcastle – Ummainar. I’m hedging my bets on this one, so it’s a SPLIT. RESULT – 5th & last. Shocking.
