My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

15.00 – Sandown – Rainyday Woman (79) – A VERY large field which always makes me nervous. Only takes one of the others to have a decent day & everything goes T*ts Up. I’m playing a bit safer & going for a 2 – 2 SPLIT.

15.20 – Navan – Velvet Elvis (59) – Gilbert O’Sullivan is our pilot today & this steed has also much room for improvement as does Gars De Sceaux. As above, I’m going for a 2 – 2 SPLIT.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

Pretty good day today. Tripler started off with a whimpering 4th place, but Races 2 & 3 both won, so with the increased stake principle, the day ended up with a nice win. OBAD was a winner, but because of Race 1’s loss, Ratchet was slightly under.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine was yet again amongst the winners. Race 1 should have been enough for you to stop for the day. Much better than starting to “gamble” and take risks. It will ALWAYS come back to bite you in the arse.

Doc’s Bank Builder had 4 selections & guess what? Yep, 4 winners! Again, Race 1 should have meant you stopped for the day. Here’s to more great days to grow our profits 🙂
