My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. I am only using small stakes but the signs are very promising. My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not a brilliant day, I must admit. Race 1 buggered things up for me with a loss. I went for a split on Race 2 & it only went & won!. Race 3 was abject. Enough said. Race 1 cost us on OBAD. Ratchet came in with 2 winners and my Fav Goldmine had 2 winning results from the 1st 2 races. I hope you stopped after Race 2, either hitting, or close to, your target. Race 3 was a cock up but I didn’t have to bet on it – fortunately!

12.50 – Catterick – African Dance. A really good win recently and looks well ahead of the field. WIN. RESULT – 3rd. Beaten by a 33/1 & a 66/1. Doh!
13.35 – Wincanton – Sizable Sam. Only had one race recently and although the main opponents have been penalised, I think I will go for a SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
15.15 – Newcastle – Mondammej. Recent C & D winner with still much room for improvement. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.(Out of 2 runners!)
