16th May 2021 + Doc’s Fav Goldmine + Summary

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

15.17 – Stratford – Pepper Street. (77) – Our old Premier League ref, chubby Neil Midgeley rides ours today. No red or yellow cards in his pocket and with a smooth run under his belt last time out, it’s a WIN.

16.10 – Naas – Contarelli Chapel. (79) – Another horse with a strange name that Spellchecker had to add. Brian Moore is taken to cross the line in style in first place. WIN.

16.35 – Ripon – Fiftyshadesofred. (67) – Ridden by “Ever Decreasing Circles’ ” Peter Egan, it ran really well last time out and finished 2nd. Although it should be the winner, I’m edging on the cautious side and going for a SPLIT

OBAD

16.10 – Naas – Contarelli Chapel. (79) – See Above.

RATCHET – Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) Use 10% of your Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets, together with the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed. It’s your decision as to whether or not you take the early odds or wait, hoping they will increase. The key thing to remember is a winner/winners at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank every month.

Please be prepared to change your line of thinking – “on the hoof” so to speak – if the odds move dramatically. They may drift, thus making the selection a “No Bet”, or the odds may steam in, making it not worth taking the risk.

If you want to, you can omit any bets with odds below 1.25 (or thereabouts) and just concentrate on the bets over those odds. This reduces the number of bets you will do but means if you get a winner, you have hit your target and can stop betting for the day, not having to risk any more money on another race.

14.17 – Stratford – Drakes Well. (1.36 – 6 – 2)

16.10 – Naas – Contarelli Chapel. (1.19 – 7 – 2)

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

Terrific day with 2 x 1st places on Tripler. Race 3 was a Non Runner but that didn’t matter as all done after Race 2. Wins on both OBAD and Ratchet made for a top day on the 3 Blue Ribbon systems.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine had me worried a bit after Race 1 where my selection finished out of the places. My first losing bet of the month and it always makes for a day of “Catch Up.” Fortunately, there were wins in Races 2, 3 and 4. This meant that today, I made a profit of 3.32%. (By the end of Race 3, I was at 99.01% for the day and the odds on the Race 4 horse pushed me over my daily 2.5% target. However, I always like to get the job done early and not to have to sweat it out! 🙂 🙂
