For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
Doc’s Bank Builder – Hmmmm. So many selections have ended up 1 place out of the paying places. I am spending a lot of time researching these selections, and this is on top of running Tripler, OBAD, Ratchet and Doc’s Fav Goldmine. I have decided that this is taking up virtually all day so I am putting a temporary hold on this system until I can tweak it to try and get rid of these hiccups.

14.10 – Thirsk – Motakhayyel – (74) – What a ridiculous name for an animal! Because the owner couldn’t be bothered to give it a normal name, I’m demoting it to a SPLIT.
14.40 – Thirsk – George Peabody – (74) – Even though the odds don’t reflect my decision, I’m going for this beauty to maintain his vast improvement, race on race. Because of this, I’m going for a WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
A “neither here nor there” sort of day really. On Tripler, Race 1 gave us a win, so hopefully, that was that. The horse in Race 2 – the out & out favourite – managed to come 3rd out of 3!! Race 3’s 2nd place didn’t do us much good, so hopefully, you stopped after Race 1’s win. OBAD was a loss and again, hopefully, the 1st place on Ratchet encouraged you to stop for the day.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine had 2 winners in the first 2 races, but Seaside Girl in Race 3 got carried away with the thought of being on Blackpool Prom. Beaten into 5th place by some right plebs, I think she was stuffing herself with donuts outside the Pleasure Beach. However, the wins in Races 1 & 2 were sufficient to stop for the day.
