My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

15.05 – Cheltenham – Chacun Pour Soi (69) – Superb performer. Add to this, with our old The Who mucca, Pete Townsend steering, I can’t see anything other than a WIN.
15.40 – Cheltenham – Easyland (69) – Our jockey has a Toff’s name – Felix de Giles! Wowsers, what a name. Up against Big Dick Johnson and Richie Blackmore amongst others. (Even James Bond’s enemy Elliot Carver is in the mix.) I’m hesitant, so will wait & see what happens in the 1st 2 races before I go for a WIN or a SPLIT.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine had 3 selections;1 x 2nd place & 2 x outright wins, meaning a great haul.
Doc’s Bank Builder lost; the so-called “fabulous” Hollie Doyle could only manage a measly 3rd place in a 5 horse race, losing our stake. Fortunately, Race 2 caught up a little. I think a tweak or 2 will be needed.
