For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
Doc’s Bank Builder – Hmmmm. So many selections have ended up 1 place out of the paying places. I am spending a lot of time researching these selections, and this is on top of running Tripler, OBAD, Ratchet and Doc’s Fav Goldmine. I have decided that this is taking up virtually all day so I am putting a temporary hold on this system until I can tweak it to try and get rid of these hiccups.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Some you win, some you lose. Race 1 was a faller – I only hope the horse is OK; the jockeys know what they are doing. It fell at the last fence! Well done jockey, you pleb! On Tripler, Race 2 placed, so OK there. Race 3 won, so made amends. OBAD lost and the 2nd and 3rd races on Ratchet caught up a bit. Doc’s Fav Goldmine had a Race 1 winner at odds of 1.50, so I stopped for the day. Bloody good job as the others failed to meet my expectations.

13.55 – Bangor On Dee – Interconnected – (79) – A bit of a let down this season, but this is his chance to make amends. Rock on Harry Skeleton. WIN. RESULT – Fell!
14.10 – Thirsk – Motakhayyel – (74) – What a ridiculous name for an animal! Because the owner couldn’t be bothered to give it a normal name, I’m demoting it to a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd.
14.40 – Thirsk – George Peabody – (74) – Even though the odds don’t reflect my decision, I’m going for this beauty to maintain his vast improvement, race on race. Because of this, I’m going for a WIN. RESULT – 1st.
