My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

Terrific day’s return. Tripler came in as predicted, OBAD won and Ratchet had 3 x places. My Fav Goldmine was back on track with both selections coming in the places.

13.15 – Naas – Bachasson (71.) Good old Pete Townsend rides our selection and is looking for another Number One, pop pickers. It has a really good track record and is set for more great results. WIN. RESULT – 1st.

15.15 – Naas – Pencilfulloflead (62.) Max Power’s sibling Robbie is our driver today. A step up in class makes me a little nervous, so for me, it’s a SPLIT. RESULT – 3rd.

16.15 – Naas – Billaway (72.) Very large field but this horse has great form. I would love to go for a win, but because of such a large field, I will wait to see what the results of Races 1 & 2 are. WAIT. RESULT – 1st.
