For Tripler, OBAD, and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one, and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate whether I stick with my predictions or not. The automated HRP spreadsheet determines your next stake, based on the result of the previous race and is geared at helping you hit your daily target.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is coming along nicely and I have had many winners on the spin. My small stakes have increased in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. As the stake is 10% of the Betting Bank, any losses do hit hard but have always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I ALWAYS stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy, and many times, when just under my target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will then go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totaling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank in a month.

Pete is our Rock ‘n Roll superstar jockey. Rarely puts a foot wrong and is so intense whilst donning his jockey clobber, he can often be seen showing his steed of the day, how to jump properly. A photo of Pete’s famous training method is shown above. “Who” would imagine that? Failure to comply with Pete’s demands can often result in a Fender Stratocaster over the bonce. It’s Pete all the way. Boogie down man.

13.35 – Haydock – Fall Of Rome. (59) – Disappointed a bit ago but has since had his bits whipped off. Total transformation. I reckon without dangly bits, this fella will WIN.

14.20 – Yarmouth – Alflaila. (82) – Won recently in a really polished performance with still lots more to come. Undoubtedly a WIN.

14.45 – Haydock – Triple Time. (58) – A short sprint but I don’t think this horse will definitely win. So, I’m going for a SPLIT.

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) Use 10% of your Bank as stake. If a loss occurs, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

Where possible, I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets, along with the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed. It’s your decision as to whether or not you take the early odds or wait, hoping they will increase. The key thing to remember is a winner/winners at odds totaling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank every month.

Please be prepared to change your line of thinking – “on the hoof” so to speak – if the odds move dramatically. They may drift, thus making the selection a “No Bet”, or the odds may steam in, making it not worth taking the risk.

If you want to, you can omit any bets with odds below 1.25 (or thereabouts) and just concentrate on the bets over those odds. This reduces the number of bets but means if you get a winner, you have hit your target and can stop betting for the day, not having to risk any more money on another race. (It also means, however, if you get a loser, there will be fewer races left to recoup any losses.)

Our old chum Big Terry is all set to “Carry On Winning.” Terry, a genius in the world of Shakesperean theatre as well as being a part-time funny man is all set to team up with Trainer, June Whitfield, and Stable Boy, Hugh Lloyd. This wonder trio will romp home chuckling all the way. Big Terry, a keen astrophysicist and fan of both molecular science and nuclear particle structure, will show the others a clean pair of heels and “Carry On Laughing All The Way To The Post.” Ride ’em Tezza!

RESULT – Good old chubster Tezza scorched all the way to the line in first place. I think June was egging him on with a promise of a nice wet rub down. Top of the tree chubby. 🙂

Apologies – On Tripler,  I didn’t catch the early replacement for the Non-Runner in Race 1 but Orinoco River could only manage a 2nd place. The split in Race 2 caught some back. OBAD’s selection came 2nd but we managed a 2nd and 1st on Ratchet.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine ended the month with 3 selections and 3 wins. As I didn’t want to blemish my record, because of the odds available, I gave Race 1 a miss.  Almost identical to yesterday, I was a fraction under my target after Race 2 but when I looked at Race 3, ours was the favourite in a 5 horse race with really good Place Odds. It was too good an opportunity to miss. It meant I ended the day 5.76% up. A great end to the month.

JUNE ANALYSIS – DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE

The total number of bets I placed in June was 58. Out of these, I had an unprecedented number of losing bets – 10 in total. My first bet of June won, but my 2nd and 3rd bets went and lost! This was followed by my last bet on Day 2 which won. After 2 day’s betting, my Bank was down to 89% of the month’s starting amount. There was then a mixture of several wins and then losses. My worst day was on Saturday 19th when I placed 4 bets and lost 2 of them. By that Saturday evening, I was at 85% of my Starting Bank.

A lot of people would have thought “Stuff it” and simply given up. But I am a firm believer of what Gav and Dave Tech constantly say – it’s not a short-term thing we are taking part in; it’s a long-term business we are involved in and if you stick to the well-worked system, all should come out right. The system DOES work. Since that dreadful Saturday, I only had 2 more losing bets.

By the time of my last bet on June 30th, my Bank had increased over the month by 193.81%, just a fraction below my target of doubling every month. (Bear in mind, there were no selections for a few days, especially 27th & 28th.) Since I started keeping accurate records, which I only started doing on April 1st, my Starting Bank has grown by an amazing 630.77%!

Imagine if you started with £500? Your bank would be now standing at  £3,153.85. Even with a Start Bank of £250, it would now be £1,576.93. AND that’s only in 3 months!

I honestly haven’t come across anything as profitable as this in all the years I have been searching for that elusive “Golden Goose.” Yes, I’m looking forward to treating my wife to a special Christmas prezzie – she deserves it after what she’s gone through. And I am looking forward to the both of us flying out to the Greek Islands next July to surprise our son for his wedding anniversary. (His wife has secretly asked all family members if they would like to stay for a week.) These are both things which until recently, we could only have dreamt of.
