1st September 2021 + Doc’s Fav Goldmine + Summary + August Summary

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race or “watch” the race in real-time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD, and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one, and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate whether I stick with my predictions or not. The automated HRP spreadsheet determines your next stake, based on the result of the previous race and is geared at helping you hit your daily target.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is coming along nicely and I have had many winners on the spin. My small stakes have increased in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. I only started keeping accurate records since April 1st, 2021. In the first 3 months, my Bank has increased 630.77%. However, as the stake is 10% of the Betting Bank, any losses do hit hard but I have always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I ALWAYS stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy, and many times, when just under my target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will then go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totaling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank in a month.

As Albert Einstein allegedly said: “Compound Interest is the 8th Wonder Of The World.”

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

13.15 – Uttoxeter – Clay Rogers. (61) – Only 4 runners with 2 horses way out in front, almost equal in the betting. A real 50/50 choice. For safety reasons, I am going for a SPLIT.

13.30 – Lingfield – Beholding. (77) – Only this horse’s 2nd race and did well last time out. With experience, it’s expected he win go one better. WIN.

16.50 – Hamilton – Edward Cornelius. (102) – A close race but I’m expecting ours to make it 2 out of 3 in its’ last races. Also, it has a gigantic HRP score. WIN.

OBAD

16.50 – Hamilton – Edward Cornelius. (102) – A close race but I’m expecting ours to make it 2 out of 3 in its’ last races. Also, it has a gigantic HRP score. WIN.

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE

  • All selections are in the PLACE market.
  • Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.)
  • Use 10% of your Bank as stake.
  • If a loss occurs, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets and the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed. It’s your decision as to whether or not you take the early odds or wait, hoping they will increase. The key thing to remember is a winner/winners at odds totaling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank every month.

Please be prepared to change your line of thinking – “on the hoof” so to speak – if the odds move dramatically. They may drift, thus making the selection a “No Bet”, or the odds may steam in, making it not worth taking the risk.

If you want to, you can omit any bets with odds below 1.25 (or thereabouts) and just concentrate on the bets over those odds. This reduces the number of bets but means if you get a winner, you have hit your target and can stop betting for the day, not having to risk any more money on another race. (It also means, however, if you do get a loser, there will be fewer races left to recoup any losses.)

Because of a strong winning 3 months, the stakes are getting quite serious now. I’m trying to be mega confident in my selections so will be scrutinising them in a little more detail.

17.50 – Hamilton – Im A Gambler. (1.69 – 6 – 2)

18.50 – Hamilton – Forza Orta. (1.24 – 6 – 2)

19.20 – Hamilton – Iris Dancer. (1.66 – 5 – 2)

19.50 – Hamilton – Hot Team. (1.66 – 7 – 2)

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

A super result for the last day of the month. Despite the loss in Race 1 on Tripler, Races 2 & 3 overhauled the initial loss for a great set of 3. OBAD was a winner and all 3 HRP selections came in the places for a great result on Ratchet.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine had 2 selections, both with very short odds. I didn’t bet on these but both won their respective races. A great end to the month.

16.25 – Newton Abbot – Beholden. (77) – WIN. RESULT – 1st.

16.45 – Hexham – Kensington Art. (52) – WAIT. RESULT – 1st.

BETTING SUMMARY FOR AUGUST

A really weird month. Over the past 4 weeks, we have had a full re-roofing of the house, along with guttering, etc. We also had the bathroom ripped out and a new one installed. Along with that, we had a full re-wire of the house, as the old electrics had become extremely dangerous.

We put the dogs away for the first week and went out every day to let the lads get on with it. But the builders overran by 2 weeks, which was a nightmare. Not their fault; one of the suppliers missed an item off the delivery van from Plymouth to Bolton and this had a knock-on effect all down the line. It’s all finished now but we are still down to floorboards and re-plastered walls. Anyway, they are three massive jobs we won’t need again.

As for my betting, although I tried my best to produce as many posts as I could because I was out of the house a lot, I couldn’t place too many bets. The summary is as follows:

I only managed to place a total of 26 bets. Stupidly, on August 24th, I placed 2 of my own selections without recourse to my normal data, simply because I wanted to see my % profit increase. BOTH LOST! Now that’s a lesson to be learned for everyone. Be disciplined and stick to the tried and trusted formula. I should learn my own lessons.

Including those 2 horrendously ridiculous bets I placed, I had a total of 5 losing bets for the month. My total month’s profit was 26.67%. This figure would have been miles higher if only I hadn’t put those 2 stupid bets on. Having said that, if someone had promised me a return of 27% for just ONE MONTH, I would have ripped their arm off. If I put £100 in my Halifax current account and left it for A YEAR, I would have received the princely sum of 10p in interest.

Since I created Doc’s Fav Goldmine which started on April 1st, my Bank has increased 832.50%. Now THAT’S what I call a decent return on investment.

Everything Gav drummed into my pea brain, works. It is a matter of drilling deep into the stats and coming up with a formula and staking plan which has been proven to work. Once these selections have been found, stick to them and don’t go “off-piste” like I did, trying to be Mr. Smart Arse betting guru.

My State Retirement is looming and I have a medium/long term plan which is all set to greatly improve my meagre pension.

Stick with it guys – it really does work.

What a relief to have the major house repairs done for the foreseeable future. The August ROI of 26,67% still beats just about every other tipseter service out there, keep it up!

George. I had a look but I use quite a complicated system and it’s a bit involved. As a matter of interest, if you follow my recommendations, what are your thoughts and how much, if any, have you made?
