23rd April 2021 + Summary + Doc’s Fav Goldmine

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

HAVE A GREAT ST. GEORGE’S DAY.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

17.05 – Chepstow – Famoso. (72) – Excellent pedigree but hasn’t lived up to expectations. Rather disappointed in this horse, so I’m going for a SPLIT.

17.35 – Chepstow – Gran Luna. (67) – Again, a disappointing history, but has recently undergone surgery which should improve it hugely. I’m taking a bit of a risk, but with Rock On Tommy Cannon steering, I’m going for a WIN.

18.15 – Worcester – Champagne Mystery. (78) – The horse is in form, but still, something of a gamble in my eyes. For me, it’s a SPLIT.

OBAD

18.15 – Worcester – Champagne Mystery. (78) – See Above.

RATCHET – Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR3

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

Now that I have access to all the data I normally use, these are my choices. As mentioned in my summary, I learned a lesson by using my own, uneducated, selections when not having the data to work from. I’m hoping for 4 out of 4 today.

13.30 – Perth – Allavina.

14.15 – Doncaster – Popmaster.

15.00 – Sandown – Palace Pier.

15.50 – Perth – Dame De Compagnie.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

Tripler Race 1 – only 7 runners & ours came 5th. It could only manage to beat 2 other horses; 1 at 400/1 and 1 at 500/1. I don’t blame the horse, but the jockey & trainer??? Luckily, Race 2 had a winner caught up somewhat. Hopefully, all was well, considering Race 3 only had 3 runners & ours came ….. 3rd! The 5th place in Race 1 cost us on OBAD and Ratchet.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine – well, I couldn’t use my normal criteria as the data hadn’t come through, so I had to improvise. (It taught me a new lesson – don’t try to be a smart arse. DON’T gamble. Wait for the correct data.) Race 1 was a winner, so hopefully, you stopped before the debacle on Races 2 & 3.

TRIPLER

13.20 – Perth – No Risk Des Flos. (82) – Ridden by David Coleman, our Match of the day mucca. Dave’ll do nicely. WIN. RESULT – 5th.

15.20 – Kilbeggan – Not Available. (62) – Steered by Richie Blackmore, this is a large field AND it’s a jump race. My 2 nightmare scenarios. If Richie escapes being bashed & banged, I’m going for it to WIN. RESULT – 1st.

18.45 – Chelmsford – Highland Dress. (74) – A short, 6 furlong dash. Ours has recently run, so is a bit more in tune than the others. WIN. RESULT – 3rd.

OBAD

13.20 – Perth – No Risk Des Flos. (82) – See Above. RESULT – 5th.

RATCHET

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE – All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) 10% Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

The data I always use is not available. I have done a totally manual search and arrived at my suggestions. It’s up to you if you want to try. I had a bash yesterday & came up with 2 winners from 2 races.

13.00 – Warwick – Sopran Thor. RESULT – 1st.

13.20 – Perth – No Risk Des Flos. RESULT – 5th.

17.25 – Exeter – College Oak. RESULT – 3rd.
