For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
If you go for a Split bet, it’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off to see if the odds have improved.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
A totally awesome day! Even though I went for split bets on Tripler, a 1st place, then a 2nd and a further 1st place was a terrific result. The OBAD selection came 1st on a split, so good stuff again. Ratchet came up with all 3 selections finishing in the place market, so again, a superb result for the Blue Ribbon systems.
What can I say about Doc’s Fav Goldmine? Even though there were no selections under my really strict criteria, the FIVE “As near as dammit” selections all came 1st! A clean sweep. 🙂 (In hindsight, a nice acca would have brought in a lovely Tax Free return.)

14.30 – Sandown – Frodon (81) – Had a tough race recently & is up against Mister Fisher, who had a superb run last time out after a few false starts. Because of this, it’s a SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
15.05 – Sandown – Altior (73) – Has beaten his main opponent every time, but will he do it yet again? Good Place Odds mean I’m going for my 2nd SPLIT of the day. RESULT – 2nd.
16.15 – Sandown – Younevercall (84) – Not a red hot favourite, but should come up trumps. He’s up against some showbiz superstars in this one: one of Emmerdale’s Dingle clan, Harry Skeleton, David Jacobs and Nico De Triumph Bonneville. So, 4 superstars could bash us up brutally. Again, really good Place Odds, so I’m taking the cowards’ option and going for yet another SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
