My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

Just checked the racing sites – Down Royal is off, so that only leaves the selection at Wolverhampton. This obviously narrows the chances of winning right down so, I am going to leave it for today. When I was a kid, I used to love winter. Now I hate it with a passion. Roll on some decent weather – PLEASE!!!!

Much, much better. Although we had a Nn Runner in race 1, Races 2 & 3 both came up trumps with wins. That meant a win on Ratchet. (OBAD was a Non Runner.) My Fav Goldmine only had one selection and, to get us back on track, we had another first place.
13.50 – Plumpton – Ahorsewithnoname (92) Nico de Triumph Bonneville pilots our trusty steed and it’s neck & neck with Natural History, ridden by Roger Moore’s lad, Jamie. But, because it has an HRP score of 92, it’s a WIN. RESULT – Non Runner.
14.40 – Chelmsford – Glen Again (52) The jockey is Franny Norton Commando. A step back up but should suit our selection. WIN. RESULT – 1st.
18.15 – Kempton – Mighty Gurkha (69) The mighty Hollie Doyle is on board and this horse had a really good run recently. My 3rd WIN. RESULT – 1st.
