For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.
My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.
If you go for a Split bet, it’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off to see if the odds have improved.

17.25 – Punchestown – Allaho (73) – A Rock Star duel if ever I saw one – Pete Townsend up against Ritchie Blackmore! I’m worried Pete will use his Fender Stratocaster rather than a whip, so I’m going for a SPLIT.
18.30 – Punchestown – Monkfish (77) – The same 2 rock Gods come up against each other again. Pete’s Monkfish is narrowly preferred to Ritchie’s Envoi Allen. I’m going for Pete to win by a fretboard. WIN.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not a bad day all in all. Race 1 came 2nd on Tripler, so not the best start. However, the next 2 races pulled it back nicely. OBAD was a winner with Andonno and Ratchet had all 3 selections in the places.
Doc’s Fav Goldmine started with 2 winners, so Job Done there, before a 4th place in Race 3 ruined a nice 4 out of 4,

13.00 – Ayr – Love De Vega (64) – Came 2nd 2 weeks ago, but that was against vastly superior opposition. I’m taking this as a WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
14.30 – Lingfield – Andonno (69) – Only 4 runners and the strong favourite. Ridden by Hollie Doyle – Popeye Doyle’s daughter – the performances to date have been nothing but shocking. Because of this, I’m going for a SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
17.50 – Windsor – Stay Well (59) – Came 2nd last time out, but achieved this from being well behind. I’m expecting even better results, so it’s a WIN. RESULT – 1st.
