My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. I am only using small stakes but the signs are very promising. My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

Not a bad day to start back. Race 1 was a winner so I stopped betting on Tripler for the day. (Good job as Race 2’s win selection came 2nd.) OBAD lost as I went for the win, but Ratchet came up trumps on all 3 races. My Fav Goldmine was also back in the winning way with all 3 place bets finishing in the top 3.

15.00 – Kempton – Clan Des Obeaux. I heard rumours yesterday that Sam Twist Your Arm ate the whole turkey & left everyone else with a single sprout. I don’t know many 32 stone jockeys who have won a top class race. SPLIT. RESULT – 3rd.
