For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

 

All over the place today! A win in Race 1 followed by a loss and then a win in Race 3 on TRIPLER. I was really worried about Jim Bowen on Paros in Race 2 and the bugger went and beat us, so a loss on OBAD. Ratchet had all 3 selections in the Place market. So a win there.

I thought I would be clever and go for 2 wins on Doc’s Fav Goldmine & go for 2 wins. Both selections came 2nd. That’ll teach me not to be such a smart arse! I’ll stick to Place Betting. A lesson I won’t forget. Doc’s Bank Builder had 2 really nice wins.
