2nd August 2023 + Doc’s Fav Goldmine + Summary

NOTES

CLUB NOTES
  • Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results before the next race starts. Either watch the race live, or watch it on Betfair.
  • For Tripler, OBAD, and Ratchet, I use the 3 HRP Systems, assess each one, and then post my predictions. Sometimes, the result of a previous race dictates my next selection. The Platinum spreadsheet determines your next stake.
  • I ALWAYS stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) If you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on.
  • It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will then go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased.
  • A winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double your Bank in a month.
DOC'S FAV GOLDMINE NOTES

STAKING PLAN 1

  1. All selections will be using the Platinum Staking Spreadsheet, with the Bet Type dependent on the odds and the spreadsheet settings.
  2. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.)
  3. The stake will be calculated automatically by the Platinum Spreadsheet.
  4. If a loss occurs, the spreadsheet will keep you on track the the next bet.

STAKING PLAN 2. (This follows Dave & Gav’s C20 staking plan:)

  1. Divide your Total Betting Fund into 4 equal blocks. (25% per block.)
  2. One block – (25%) is used as your Frontline Betting Bank with either 10% or 20% as your stake. (Your choice.) 75% is held in reserve in case of a major loss.
  3. As you are only using 25% of your Total Bank to bet with, you may want to “Collapse” your Bank and start again at a profit of either 5% or 10%. The choice is yours.
  4. Any winnings are added to your Total Betting Bank and then the whole process of splitting into 4 blocks starts again.
  5. You will need to use Gav & Dave’s Spreadsheet to calculate your stakes. (If not a VIP member, you may want to stick with 10% of your Betting Bank as your stake, then follow rules 1 – 3 above.)

As Albert Einstein allegedly said:

“Compound Interest is the 8th Wonder Of The World.”

Let’s shake things up a bit. I am looking at a slightly different approach to my daily selections. Up to now, I have stuck firmly to the 10% staking method (for DFG). From now on, I will start posting 2 spreadsheets every day:

  1. Using the Platinum Staking Plan for the TRIPLER selections.
  2. Using the Platinum Staking Plan for DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE selections.

My target is 2.5% per day. Any profits will then be re-invested for the next day’s bets. I will publish the results at the bottom of the page.

DON’T FORGET THE KEY TO EVERYTHING – A 2.5% profit per day will DOUBLE your Bank in a month.

Dr Rob, I just have a couple of questions regarding your system. I’m new to HRP so I’m just trying to fully understand everything as I progress through.

With your system I read that as I’m supposed to put a win bet and place bet on the selection for that race and using the Ratchet staking the place bet is staked at 10% of my bank. What % should I be using on the win bet? Is that determined by me?

The aim is 2.5% for the Tripler selections, now is 2.5% the aim for the Fav Goldmine selections if they differ. So, a potential 5% in total or is it just 2.5% total and then stop? I’m assuming that if the selections in the Tripler and Fav Goldmine are the same that the stake on the bet is not doubled and basically you just bet once per selection?

    Thanks

Yes, the Ratchet can run as independent systems. On my forum post covering these highly selective and very profitable Club bets I present a ‘Unified Strategy’ for staking all bets in the group. Best, Gav

    Dr Rob says:

Hi Paul. Apologies for the time taken to get back. The Ratchet system is normally based on the Place Market. The selections are exactly the same as those provided by TRIPLER except that the bet type is a Place bet with no win element. The simplest form of bet is 10% of your Betting Bank. (This could actually be your Total Bank sub-divided into 2 Banks: 25% of which is your Betting Bank )of which you will stake 10%) and the other 75% is held as a Reserve Bank in case of an unlikely run of losses.
Whatever system I use, I aim to ALWAYS stop at a 2.5% profit. OR as near as. My DFG bets on 2nd August show exactly what I mean – I stopped after Race 1 with a profit of 2.48%/ Had I carried on, I would have lost.
The Tripler selections are produced by the HRP Software. The DFG selections are MY selections. Sometimes, they will be similar, but I have my own filtering system to generate my selections.
All systems – Tripler, OBAD, Ratchet, Doc’s Fa Goldmine & DFG OBAD – are totally independent of each other.
    Cheers, Doc.
