My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. I am only using small stakes but the signs are very promising. My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.
I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not the best of days. My split choice on Race 1 actually won. Race 2’s 3rd place wasn’t enough to be a winning bet as there were only 5 runners. Jim Bowen, that old chucklemeister must have been joking too much and his horse refused to move. That was a loss on Tripler but at least we got a result with OBAD. Ratchet only had a Race 1 winner in the Place Market. No bets today on my Fav Goldmine, so my record still stands. 🙂

12.45 – Market Rasen – Across The Line. Ridden by Harry Skeleton. Ran well last time out but receives a penalty. SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
14.40 – Taunton – Perfect Myth. Has run brilliantly all season and has the awesome Bryony Frost on board. WIN. RESULT – 3rd.
15.50 – Taunton – Millbank Flyer. Sounds like the name of an old Will Hay/Moore Marriott movie. Came 2nd on his last run which was massively impressive. Also, much room for improvement. WIN. RESULT – Pulled Up.
