3rd May 2021 + Doc’s Fav Goldmine + Summary

** House Notes** Be careful if races start close to each other. You may not get the results of the race you placed a bet on before the next race starts, so do try to either watch a Live Feed of the race, or “watch” the race in real time at Betfair. **

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely. Any losses do hit hard, as it’s 10% of the Betting Bank, but has always caught up rapidly before moving ahead again.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

It’s your call as to whether you take the early odds, hoping they will go down, or wait until nearer the off hoping the odds have increased. The key thing to remember is a winner (or winners) at odds totalling 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank in a month.

STAY SAFE FELLAS.

TODAY’S HRP SELECTIONS

TRIPLER

13.15 – Kempton – Paso Doble. (82) – Quite a competitive field is this one. Bryony Frost is up against some good ‘uns, but the horse has shown tremendous potential with a promising future. However, I’m going for a 2-2 SPLIT.

14.35 – Curragh – Broome. (81) Ours, ridden by Brian Moore, the football commentator, has already beaten some of these others and I fully expect him to repeat the process. WIN.

16.41 – Beverley – Haija. (69) Quite a difficult race to read. This is the 4th attempt to win so I’m not overly confident, even though there are only 4 runners. Not bad place odds, so SPLIT.

OBAD

13.15 – Kempton – Paso Doble. (82). See Above.

RATCHET – Instructions for use: http://bit.ly/35tpfR

DOC’S FAV GOLDMINE All selections are in the PLACE market, unless otherwise stated. Stop at a profit of 2.5% per day. (Or as near as.) Use 10% of your Bank as stake. If a loss happens, keep to the last stake and not 10% of the new, reduced Bank.

I am also showing the early Place Odds in brackets, together with the number of runners and the number of horses to be placed. It’s your decision as to whether or not you take the early odds or wait, hoping they will increase. The key thing to remember is a winner/winners totalling odds of 1.25 or above will hit your Daily Target. A profit of 2.5% per day will double you Bank every month.

14.00 – Curragh – Cheerupsleepyjean. (1.32 – 7 – 3)

14.35 – Curragh – Broome. (1.23 – 6 – 2)

15.10 – Curragh – Champers Elysees. (1.33 – 8 – 3)

15.41 – Windsor – Sevenal. (1.18 – 11 – 3)

16.41 – Beverley – Haija. (1.23 – 4 – 2)

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

A great day’s betting. Despite the 2nd place in Race 1 on Tripler, the following 2 races both came 1st, negating the loss & putting you in profit. The OBAD selection won and we had 3 x places on Ratchet, so a great day for the 3 Blue Ribbon systems.

Doc’s Fav Goldmine started off with a 2nd place and a win, so Job Done and no more betting before the disappointing result in Race 3. Only if you were being greedy and carried on betting would you have lost.

TRIPLER

13.00 – Salisbury – Out In Yorkshire. (59) – Even though this animal is named after the wrong side of the Pennines, I am still going for it to do well. Ran 10 days ago and was very impressive. This is only a short dash so I hope it doesn’t get bumped about at the start, cos if it does, anything can happen. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.

15.15 – Hamilton – Dragon Symbol. (59) – Ridden by Adam McNamara – he’s the leader of the band don’t you know – and has blitzed the opposition in his past races. WIN. RESULT – 1st.

16.55 – Hamilton – Fantastic Fox. (72) – Named after Neil or Don? The pilot’s name is Eeoowin or summat. Came 3rd recently but that was against vastly superior horses. He will surely outclass this lot today. WIN. RESULT – 1st.

OBAD

16.55 – Hamilton – Fantastic Fox. (72) – See Above. RESULT – 1st.

RATCHET – RESULTS – 2nd, 1st, 1st.

14.25 – Newmarket – Ashaari. (1.37 – 8 – 2) RESULT – 5th.

15.15 – Hamilton – Dragon Symbol. (1.35 – 5 – 2) RESULT – 1st.
