I am testing a brand new system – “Doc’s Fav Placer” – and will post my selections at the end of today’s normal selections. PLEASE do not put any bets on these at the moment. It is a new system I am paper trading so I will try it for a few days to see what sort of results it is bringing. If it proves successful, I will drop “Quick Punt” and replace it with “Doc’s Fav Placer.”

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not a bad day at all. I stopped betting on Tripler after Race 1, as it hit my target. I also hit target on OBAD and I stopped after Race 1 on Ratchet. Because of the donkey Fostered Phil, which was the favourite & was beaten by 9/1, 33/1 & 16/1 no-hopers, I lost a tiny amount on Quick Punt. Doc’s Fav Placer only had 3 selections today, with Fostered Phil buggering everything up. It did mean however, a small loss on the system for today, so I am looking forward to smashing it tomorrow.

14.30 – Ascot – Berkshire Rocco. Only just beaten in the St Leger recently and this is a step down in class. WIN. RESULT – 1st.
16.35 – Dundalk – Urban Beat. Runner up 3 times in stronger races. This drop in standard will hopefully mean he gets 1st past the post this time out. WIN. RESULT – 2nd.
