My new system, Doc’s Fav Goldmine, is showing plenty of promise and I have had several winners on the spin. My small stakes are increasing in size, due to a constant supply of winning selections 🙂 My DFG Bank is now really building nicely.

For Tripler, OBAD and Ratchet, I use the 3 selections generated by the HRP software, assess each one and then say what I am going to do. Obviously, you can make your own decisions as to what you think the outcomes will be. Sometimes, the result of a previous race will dictate as to whether I stick with my predictions or not.

I stop betting if I hit my target of 2.5% (or as near as dammit.) Use your common sense – if you get close to your personal target, it’s your decision as to whether you want to carry on & go for it. Personally, I learned the harsh lesson of being greedy and many times, when just under target, I have “Gone for it,” only to lose the lot chasing bigger profits.

I am testing a new system – Doc’s Bank Builder. Similar to Doc’s Fav Goldmine, all bets are in the place market and hopefully, it is winning string to the bow.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY

Tripler, OBAD & Ratchet performed magnificently – again. Tripler had predictions of Win, Win & Split with the results coming in as a win, win and win. Obvious, this meant wins on both OBAD & Ratchet. 

Doc’s Fav Goldmine had 3 selections; the 1st 2 coming in, so no need to worry about the loss in Race 3. Doc’s Bank Builder also had 3 selections; Races 1 & 2 both won, so the pleb who fell off in Race 3 shouldn’t have caused a problem.

TRIPLER

14.00 – Southwell – Rockstar Ronnie (97) – With Harry Skeleton on board, I can’t see past a victory. WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN.)

18.40 – Wolverhampton – Jeans Maite (89) – Won decisively last week and no penalty. It also has that old funster Noel Edmonds steering the way. Again, it’s a WIN. RESULT – 1st. (WIN.)

19.10 – Wolverhampton – Unforgiving Minute (88) – Up against an old warhorse in Yuften, who still has a lot to give. Because of this, if we have to go this far, I’m going for a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd. (WIN.)
