TODAY’S SELECTIONS
TRIPLER
14.10 – Goshen – Only 4 runners & ours is well in front in the betting. WIN.
14.25 – Rebel Og – Ours is 3rd favourite & 9 runners. Jockey is P Townsend who has now dumped his job as the lead guitarist with The Who & is now a jockey. Good Place odds. I expect him to get a few wrong chords. SPLIT.
15.05 – Blazing Port – 10 runners & ours is 2nd favourite. Initial thoughts are a SPLIT.
OBAD
See 15.05 above.
RATCHET.
Same as always:10% Bank Stake. I always stop if I hit 2.5% on ANY system. No use hitting your target then blowing it hoping to win a bit more. But it’s your choice.
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Not really sure what happened yesterday. When I logged on for the selections, they were all at Newcastle and there were only 2 selections on Tripler. (One of which was the OBAD selection.) I thought it may have been because a meeting was called off.
I duly placed my bets and Pitcher’s Point came 3rd in the 1st race. It wasn’t a clear favourite so I went for a Split. The odds I got gave me a small profit. I rolled on to the 2nd race – the 16.05 & went for a Win on Clarey Blue. Now, if that hadn’t won, I would have run through Bolton Town Centre in my Speedos! Fortunately for the good folks of the Borough, it won. 2 winning bets & a total profit of 2.15%. Happy Days.
The OBAD selection was also Clarey Blue & generated a profit for the day of 2.44%. Again, Happy Days.
Ratchet was a great result. I got odds of 1.45 for the Place & it came 3rd. A tidy 4.50% up on the day.
I’m glad I did these selections as when I logged in later – after I had already placed my bets – there were 3 completely different selections?? The 3 different selections came 4th, 1st & 11th. So that would have been a losing day for me & next door’s cat would have been hiding.
