All 3 races today are at Ascot, so no panicking about races finishing within minutes of the start of the next selection. Race 1 only has 2 runners & I’m going for a WIN. If the selection is the favourite, only has 1 opponent & doesn’t win, I will show my arse on the Town Hall steps. Race 2 only has 4 runners, so very similar to the above. My choice again is a WIN. Race 3 has 9 runners so a bit more competition. However, it is way out in front of the early betting so again, my choice is a WIN.
RATCHET is as always, 10% of my day’s Start Bank with a stop if I hit 2.5% profit for the day. Providing that the odds are not so low as to make a bet too risky.
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
On Tripler, I went for a Split bet on Race 1 & the horse came 2nd, so a small win because of the odds. Race 2 was a Win selection and this came in. However, the 2 wins added together didn’t hit my 2.5% target. My 3rd bet therefore, went on the 3rd and last race as a Win. It was the clear favourite in a very short sprint. The damn horse came 2nd & was beaten by some lugger at odds of 33/1. As Victor Meldrew said: “I don’t believe it!” It is like Geoff Capes beating Usain Bolt in the 100 metres. Don’t these horses understand they lose me money when they don’t win? OBAD and Ratchet both won but the idiot in the 3rd race buggered things up on Tripler.
OBAD – +3.0%
TRIPLER – LOSS
RATCHET – +3.07%
