13.30 – Plumpton – Cap Du Mathan. Recent form hasn’t been brilliant & a good challenger close behind. If I go for a SPLIT & it wins, I will be half way to my target. SPLIT.
14.30 – Plumpton – Cat Tiger. Penalised with weight & there’s a top challenger close behind. A win with a SPLIT bet hits Job Done for the day. A Place result means on to Race 3.
15.45 – Kelso – Black Pirate. A 14 runner jump race. I’m hedging my bets on this & even though it won’t make a lot, I’m going for a SPLIT.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
As I said in my selections, I was out all afternoon so I did something I have never done before. I placed Win bets on the 1st 2 races without knowing any results. Fortunately, they paid off. I won on OBAD although I didn’t hit my target. (But I’m not bothered – I made a profit.) I hit my target on Tripler and because of the odds, I omitted Ratchet for one day.
I don’t really want to have to do that again, but all’s well that ends well.
