YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
What a superb start to August. All the – literal – dark clouds of July have disappeared and we seem to be rockin’ and rollin’ again 🙂 Even my new system came good with 2 first places out of 2 selections. Not bad for a non-horse racing pleb. 🙂 I’m in such a good mood, I’m gonna watch Car Share with Peter Kay on the i Player!
TRIPLER
12.35 – Sandown – Yibir. Several newcomers but ours at least has a bit of experience and performed ok last time out. Nothing spectacular though. SPLIT. RESULT – 1st. Job Done. Target Hit. No more Tripler betting for me today.
14.25 – Newcastle – Glen Shiel. Very close field with nothing showing as an obvious favourite. Decent Place Odds. SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
17.20 – Galway – Camphor. Same scenario as Race 2. Nothing particularly outstanding. SPLIT. RESULT – 1st.
If any of you carried on after Race 1, you would have had a bumper day. I didn’t; I was happy hitting my target.

I actually went against everything I have said in the past, especially yesterday. Because of the hammering I took on Friday, I decided to carry on and do all 3 ratchet bets. LUCKILY, they came off for the 2nd day on the bounce. I will NOT be doing it again tomorrow. I know I will get bitten on the backside!
