I can’t post anything today unfortunately. I was just starting my report but have now got to rush a stray cat that apparently has decided it wants to live here, to the emergency vet. As there is a long waiting list for obvious reasons, I don’t know how long I’ll be out of action.
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
A truly horrendous day’s results. All the hard work of the last few days was ruined by a lot of pitiful performances. I appreciate these are animals and don’t comply to the norm, but a horse is favourite for a reason – it is expected to perform well. Not finish last and get beaten by a 40/1 shot.
TRIPLER
13.15 – Sandown – Risk Of Thunder. Ridden by that famous football commentator, Ryan Moore. Only 5 furlongs so not too long for him to commentate. WIN. RESULT – LAST. Ours was the favorite and somehow managed to finish bloody last! Bryan Moore needs his commentators’ Licence revoking.
14.25 – Sandown – Cross Counter. Only 5 runners but jockey Buick’s V8 engine hasn’t been firing on all cylinders. Place Odds quite good. SPLIT. RESULT – 3rd. No place payout as only 5 runners. Poor show.
15.35 – Sandown – Enable. Frankie Dettori is riding our selection and is also a very classy performer. Difficult to go for anything other than a WIN. RESULT – LOST. Dettori came 2nd.

RATCHET – Same staking plan as usual. BOBBINS.
