15.45 – Newcastle – Lexington Dash. HRP Score 52. Because this is One Bet A Day, the selection is the favourite & it is a straight 6 furlong charge, I am going for a win in this one. My Choice – WIN.
TRIPLER
13.00 – Lingfield – Story of Light. HRP Score 47. This again is a shortish race on the flat. No jumps to cock things up. It’s the favourite as well. My Choice WIN.
14.15 – Musselburgh – Building Bridges. HRP Score 47. Near as dammit 2 miles over fences. This selection is showing as 2nd Favourite in the early prices. My Choice SPLIT.
15.45 – Newcastle – Lexington Dash. See OBAD above. BUT, if I only need a Place win to hit my target, I will go for a SPLIT on the Tripler system.

Straight 10% of my Bank to go on the Place market. I always do 1 race at a time so if I hit my 2.5% target, I stop for the day.
YESTERDAY.
Because of being dragged out Christmas shopping yesterday, I didn’t have time to post anything. However, I had jotted all 3 selections down so I could see what was going on. Fortunately, whilst having a coffee in the uber luxurious place which is Bolton Town Centre, my wife saw a former work colleague in the cafe. This, knowing my wife’s voracity for talking, would give me at least 10 – 15 minutes to sit on my own at the table. Because of the time restraints, I did something I have never done & always advocated against: I put the OBAD bet on, I put the 1st 2 Tripler bets on and ALL 3 Ratchet bets on. I am a total coward as to risk, but having had such a good run recently, I crossed my fingers & hoped for the best. Turned out all 3 WON!

A fabulous day, but somewhat worrying!
Just to let you know, I started this journey on 5th August. I started with the miserly Bank of £50. This was because I know Sweet FA about betting on horses. I made quite a lot of mistakes before I settled in to something of a structured regime. My Bank now stands at £241.42. Now you may laugh, but in 4 months, I have made a profit of almost £200. If I can continue in this vein, I can’t wait for the next 4 months’ figures. I will keep you informed.
Don’t forget, I am a retired Postie – God bless ’em this time of year cos it’s manic – so I didn’t have a lot to start with. I just trusted that Gav & his mates knew what they were doing when building the software.

And well done for those bank figures, that’s a massive percentage increase.
I had a couple of questions on your staking please because I can’t see specific reference to them in your posts except for ratchet?
For OBAD are you using the Platinum Staking?
For Tripler are you using that or Tripler staking which I think is 1 point on each selection, increasing by 1 point until you’re back ahead and then back down to 1 point is that right?
And then the ratchet system is a straight 10% of bank per bet. Does that have a recovery mode?
I know that ratchet is always in the place market and the OBAD/Triplers are either a straight win bet or split win/place depending on your judgement for the particular race and I also know you’ll stop the triplers and ratchet if you hit your 2.5% target.
