LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES – DO NOT BE A GREEDY BASTARD LIKE I WAS!!!!
We managed to get the dog saved but I knew I wouldn’t be able to do my normal betting strategy. OBAD was OK because it is only 1 bet a day and it won. However, as I knew I couldn’t do the Tripler as normal (ie. waiting for the result of the 1st race etc.) and all the selections were showing really well, I did ALL 3 WIN BETS BEFORE I LEFT HOME.
NEVER AGAIN!. Race 1 fell and I would have moved on to Race 2 with a new stake. It is more than likely that, as Big Bad Bear won, I would have hit or been near to my target. Anywhere near 2.5% for the day and I would have stopped betting. As it was, the 3rd race lost as well. So much for being the consummate betting person!
DON’T BE GREEDY LIKE I WAS. Play your bets calmly and THINK about what is going on. Just because we had a good day yesterday doesn’t mean we are going to win everything the next day. Another hard lesson learned. What a prize pillock.
