14.30 – Carlisle – First Flow. 4 runners. Ours has odds of 1.07 & the 2nd favourite’s odds are 24.0. Is it really worthwhile risking a bet at such low odds? Looking back to Goshen at Cheltenham, I think I’ll give this race a miss.
15.45 – Limerick – Salsaretta. This horse has won for us before. Hotly tipped so it’s a WIN for me.
17.20 – Limerick – Stattler. Very close at the top of the betting. Depending on the result from Race 1, I will see if I can hit target with a split bet. My choice is to WAIT & see what happens.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
TRIPLER
13.00 – Kempton – Manvers House. Solid performer. I went for a SPLIT. Solid performer? It performed like a block of solid poo. Didn’t even place, so on the back foot for the rest of the day.
14.00 – Newcastle – Stainsby Girl. Good run last time out and expected to perform better. My selection was WIN and the horse which Chris Rea wrote about came in 1st. Pulled back some of Race 1 losses.
16.10 – Uttoxeter – Espion. Finished 3rd on its’ last outing. Today’s opposition is not in the same league as the horses in its’ last race. WIN. I think it was a French horse, so doubly surprised it got round, never mind win 😉 It meant I ended up with a really nice profit, which was much needed.

Need some to come in today. 10% as normal. Overall small loss due to the pleb on board Manvers House. Races 2 & 3 both came in but not enough to claw back the loss on Race 1.
