TODAY’S SELECTIONS
Let’s hope we can keep up our decent record over the last few days. Weather is not good up here but I guess Sandown is wealthy and can afford to pay for some extra sunshine.
TRIPLER
13.15 – Sandown – Risk Of Thunder. Ridden by that famous football commentator, Ryan Moore. Only 5 furlongs so not too long for him to commentate. WIN.
14.25 – Sandown – Cross Counter. Only 5 runners but jockey Buick’s V8 engine hasn’t been firing on all cylinders. Place Odds quite good. SPLIT.
15.35 – Sandown – Enable. Frankie Dettori is riding our selection and is also a very classy performer. Difficult to go for anything other than a WIN.
OBAD
14.25 – Sandown – Cross Counter. See above.
RATCHET – Same staking plan as usual.
NEW SYSTEM – Try 5% with a lower profit target? Say 1.5%?
13.15 – Sandown – Risk Of Thunder.
14.25 – Sandown – Cross Counter.
15.35 – Sandown – Enable.
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
Yet again, a damn good day’s betting, the only negative being Dave Allen’s calamitous ride in Race 1. No laughing matter Dave. Get to grips man.
TRIPLER
13.30 – Haydock – Golden Melody. Ridden by the famous Irish comedian, Dave Allen. It’s not a laugh however, deciding between Dave & the 2nd favourite, Dubai Fountain. There is a reduction in the Place odds due to withdrawals. Tempted for a Win, but may edge towards a top 2 finish. SPLIT. RESULT – LOST. Dave, the chuckling funster somehow contrived to finish 4th out of 4. Pleb.
14.25 – Epsom – Safe Voyage. Ridden by Jason Hart, of the Hart to Hart family. (I used to fancy his wife 😉 ) WIN. RESULT – 1st. The Hart to Hart combo saw us win this one. I caught a glimpse of Jennifer Hart in her Jodhpurs. Job Done. Target Hit. No more Tripler betting for me.
15.15 – Haydock – First Kingdom. Good old Dave’s back on this one and hopefully, he will be laughing all the way to the chequered flag. (Ooops, I got F1 on my mind.) If he doesn’t win, I will personally run down the East Lancs Road & thump the bugger. WIN. RESULT – 1st. Dave Allan returned to his joke telling best with a fine win. Trained by a bloke called Haggis. Can’t fail with a combo like that. NO BET – Target already hit.
OBAD
14.30 – Naas – Sussex Garden.I see it has to be a posh name & nothing like Toxteth Garden or Moss Side Garden! Very close so it’s a SPLIT. RESULT – 2nd. Because of the odds on offer, the Place element hit my target. JOB DONE. TARGET HIT.
RATCHET – Same Staking Plan as always. Only let down by that jokester Dave Allan in Race 1. Races 2 & 3 came in and reduced my loss to a tiny amount. LOST. (Only a bit.)
NEW SYSTEM – As it’s me, if you want a dabble, why not lower your stake to say 5% and set a slightly lower target of say,1.5% Daily Profit?
14.30 – Naas – Sussex Garden. JOB DONE. TARGET HIT. No more bets on this system today.
15.15 – Haydock – First Kingdom.
16.25 – Haydock – Arch Moon.
