13.15 – Doncaster – The Macon Lugnatic. What a stupid name! Had a C & D win recently & set to improve still. Very tempted to go for a win but decent odds for a place. If it wins on a Place bet, I will make 5% profit, so rather than take a risk, I think I will be going SPLIT.
15.15 – Hexham – Giovanni Change. Hopefully a straightforward WIN.
15.30 – Cheltenham – Paisley Park. A 3 mile slog but this horse has won for us before. I’m sticking my neck out & going for a WIN. Our mate Pete Townsend has left the Queen tour and is back. If he wins, Roger Daltry said he would ride in the Grand National.

YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
TRIPLER
15.30 – Cheltenham – Defi Du Seuil. Battle between 2 runners. Because Pete Townsend had an offer to re-form with Queen, he pulled out of today’s performance. I therefore changed my selection to a WIN. It was the first race I have watched on telly for a long time. Ours was way out in front of the betting but it looked as though it was running in treacle. Came a really disappointing last.
16.10 – Cheltenham – Tiger Roll. I went for a SPLIT. It came 2nd so more or less broke even. Still losing after Race 1’s poor showing.
17.05 – Huntingdon – Rhosneigr. At last 🙂 My favourite holiday place won and brought me a small overall profit for the day. Unfortunately, I went for another Split bet and could have won more. But what the heck.

Races 2 & 3 both won on the Place market but Race 1 buggered things up. I’m sure Tommy Shelby had something to do with Defi Du Seuil’s feed. A small overall loss.
