DON’T BE GREEDY TRYING TO CHASE LOSING DAYS. GO WITH THE FLOW & TAKE THINGS NICE & STEADY.
Today’s Tripler selections show the 1st 2 selections as head & shoulders above the field so I will be going for a WIN on each of these 2 races. The 3rd is a bit more problematic. This has 17 runners but at least it’s a flat race so no hurdles to bugger things up. There are 3 horses towards the top of the betting with our selection being one of them. The Place odds are somewhat generous, so, if I do have to go to this race, I will probably be going for a SPLIT.
As usual, I always hope the 1st race hits my 2.5% profit for the day target, so I can sit back and relax.
YESTERDAY’S SUMMARY
In race 1, our selection lacked the required stamina & finished in 2nd place. I went for the split. If it had won, I would have won on both Win & Place & hit my target. As it was, I made a small loss. Race 2 was a Win selection & the horse came 2nd, so a loss on this race. I went for a Split on Race 3. Again, if it had won, I would have recouped my losses and hit my target. The horse came 3rd. It was the favourite & was beaten by a 33/1 Rag & Bone horse & a 14/1 Dobbin. I won on the Place element but not enough to recoup my losses. Therefore, an overall loss on OBAD and Tripler.
Ratchet hit 2.5% profit on the first race, coming in 2nd. No more bets on Ratchet for the day.
A disappointing day but let’s be positive & look forward to winning day today.

so when we have an off day, do u keep the stake the same? util u reach a new high point and then recalculate?

When I have a losing day, rightly or wrongly, I start the next day with the end Bank figure for the losing day. Admittedly it is going to be a lower figure than the previous day, but don’t forget, the number of Points staked will also be higher.

Nice one Baj. I got it at 4.10 for the win. I don’t like risk so that’s why I did the Split bet. Always nice to win both the Win & Place elements. 🙂
